From 9 August, Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport will be linked directly to La Part-Dieu by the Rhônexpress service, a modern fast tram offering a journey time of less than half an hour. The transport link has cost 120 million euros and it is estimated that one million passengers will be carried in its first year of operation.
Grenoble-based events agency, Diverty’Sports, has just obtained its licence to operate as a travel agent. Such a move is a definite advantage, allowing the agency to work on both the national and international markets rather than stick with just its primary client base in the Rhône-Alpes.
